Sourabh Mishra
Sourabh has spent three decades arguing that brands grow by understanding better, not by speaking more. The argument has run through the Chief Strategy Officer chairs at TBWA India, then Saatchi & Saatchi India, then Bates CHI&Partners India (where he also sat on the Board as Whole-Time Director), and earlier through senior planning roles at Ogilvy, McCann and Everest Brand Solutions.
In 2018 he founded Azendor — named after the mountaineering ascender, a deliberate metaphor for someone whose work is about keeping clients safe on steep terrain. Through Azendor he leads brand consulting across India and the region; he served as Interim CMO at Welspun One in 2024, and joined the Bain External Advisor Network in 2025. Thirty years of guest faculty work — at XIMR Mumbai, the Xavier Institute of Communications, XIME Bangalore, REC Trichy, IIM Bangalore and other campuses — runs alongside the practice. Pedagogy, for him, is consulting by other means.
At Flibbr® he is Module Architect for Cracking the Customer Code on the Brand Intelligence Bootcamp — the Three Circles framework, B2H thinking, and Path-to-Purchase mapping. “Brands don’t grow by speaking more,” he says. “They grow by understanding better.”
He is based in Mumbai.

Flibbr® case studies credit the firm, not the individual; the engagements Sourabh leads on are part of the team’s collective work. For the published record, see the Case Studies archive.
