Privacy Policy.
How Flibbr® Consulting handles personal information you share with us — through the contact form, the newsletter, or any of the enquiry paths on the site.
We collect personal information only when you give it to us, we use it only for the purpose you gave it for, and we don’t sell or rent it to anyone. This policy explains how that works in practice.
Who we are
This site (flibbrconsulting.com) is operated by Flibbr® Consulting Services Private Limited — referred to below as “we”, “us”, or “our”. We process personal data in accordance with the IT Act, 2000 and other applicable Indian and state laws governing the processing of personal data. For any question relating to your personal information, write to connect@flibbrconsulting.com.
How we collect information
We collect information in three ways:
- Directly through this site — when you submit a contact form, sign up for The Dispatch newsletter, or otherwise interact with the site.
- Through business interaction — through the normal course of working with you or your colleagues during an engagement.
- From other sources — including public databases, joint marketing partners, social media platforms, and similar third parties, where this is lawful and relevant to a discussion we’re already having.
What we collect
Information you give us
- Your name, company, role, email address, and (optional) phone number when you submit any of the contact paths on this site.
- Your email address when you sign up for The Dispatch newsletter.
- The content of any message you send us through the form or by direct email.
- Your application materials when you write to us about Careers or collaboration.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the site, some information is collected automatically. This may include your operating system, IP address, access times, browser type, browser language, and the website you visited before ours. We also collect information about how you use the site — page response times, pages visited, length of visits, scroll, click, and mouse-over interactions — primarily through cookies. See our Cookies Policy for the full list and your options.
By using this site you agree that we may use comments, feedback or testimonials you give us in our own marketing communications. If you’d rather we didn’t, write to connect@flibbrconsulting.com and we’ll honour the request.
How we use your information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To provide, maintain, protect, and improve our services and this site.
- To respond to your enquiries, comments, and requests.
- To send you confirmations, invoices, technical notices, security alerts, and similar administrative messages relating to an engagement or your subscription.
- To send you The Dispatch if you’ve signed up for it. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.
- To consider your application if you’ve written about joining the Flibbrati or working with us.
- To meet our legal, regulatory, and tax obligations, including verification of identity where required.
- To protect against, investigate, and deter fraudulent, unauthorised, or unlawful activity on the site.
We may, where required by law, process personal information without prior knowledge or consent — for instance, in response to a valid legal request, or where necessary for the prevention, detection, or investigation of an offence (including a cyber-incident).
Who we share your information with
We do not share your personal data with third parties for their own marketing. Where we do share, it is limited to the following:
- Service providers who help us run the firm — including our hosting provider, email provider, and newsletter platform. They have access only to the information they need to perform their function, and they are bound by data protection commitments equivalent to those in this policy.
- To comply with law or respond to lawful process — including in response to a valid request from a court, regulator, or law enforcement authority.
- To protect rights or safety — including to enforce our agreements, policies, and Terms of Service, or in an emergency to protect a person’s safety.
- In connection with a business transaction — such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or part of the firm, where personal data may transfer to the new owner. We will tell you if this happens.
How long we keep your information
We keep your information for as long as we need it to provide the service you asked for, or for such period as is required by applicable law (whichever is longer). After that, we delete it. If you’d like us to delete your information sooner, write to connect@flibbrconsulting.com.
Data security
We take reasonable physical, technical, and organisational measures to protect personal information against accidental loss, unauthorised access, alteration, or disclosure. We transmit information over Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) and we limit access to personal data to those who have a legitimate need for it. No system is perfect, but we treat data security seriously and respond promptly to any incident.
You also have a part to play. Choose strong, distinct passwords for any accounts that touch us, sign out of shared devices, and don’t reuse the same password across services.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies to make this site work and to understand how it’s being used. Some are essential (you can’t disable these without breaking the site); others are analytical (you can disable these in your browser settings without affecting functionality). Most browsers accept cookies by default — see your browser’s settings to change this. The full list, and your options, are described in our Cookies Policy.
Links to third-party sites
The site may contain links to third-party websites and services. Their privacy practices are their own — we don’t accept responsibility for them. When you leave the site, read the privacy policy of the site you go to.
Social network plugins
Where the site uses social-network share buttons, those buttons are programmed not to set cookies on page load. Cookies may be set if you actively use the button to share something. The collection and use of any information through those plugins is governed by the privacy policy of the social network in question.
Children
If you are under 18, or below the age of majority in the jurisdiction in which you reside, you may use the site only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and we are not liable for use of the site by a minor without consent.
Your choices and rights
You have rights over the personal information we hold about you. Subject to applicable law, you can ask us to:
- Tell you what information we hold about you.
- Correct anything that’s wrong.
- Delete your information.
- Stop processing your information for a particular purpose.
- Provide a copy of your information in a portable format.
- Stop sharing your information with third parties.
You can also unsubscribe from The Dispatch at any time using the link in every email; you may continue to receive non-promotional messages relating to an active engagement. To exercise any of the rights above, write to connect@flibbrconsulting.com. We aim to confirm receipt within two working days.
The Dispatch newsletter
When you subscribe to The Dispatch, your email address is used to send you the newsletter and nothing else. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email, or by writing to connect@flibbrconsulting.com.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time — to reflect changes in how we work, in the technologies we use, or in applicable law. When we do, we’ll update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change to this policy constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
If you have a question about anything in this policy, or a complaint about how we’ve handled your information, write to connect@flibbrconsulting.com with a description of your concern, and we’ll work to resolve it.
